My Meta-analysis got Published!

It’s been about 4-ish years since I finished my Masters degree in Neuroscience, but it happened…

My thesis on Facial mimicry, empathy, and emotion recognition: a meta-analysis of correlations got published!

To all those Psychology and Neuroscience Masters students out there, doing a Masters is tough. Really tough. But if you want to make life a little easier and have a far better chance of getting published, I recommend doing a meta-analysis.

Reason 1: There is no need to recruit participants.

Reason 2: You’ll hone your analytical skills in a practical way.

Reason 3: You’ll get to learn a great coding language, R – this is way easier and far less expensive than trying to do this in MatLab.

You can find my meta-analysis code and data that I used on GitHub. Go and try it out for yourself and feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Have fun!
